How to unlock the full facebook app on your jailbroken iPad
Yesterday it was revealed that the FULL as yet unreleased iPad Facebook app is actually hidden inside the iPhone app that is already available for free download from the appstore. Jailbreakers quickly found a way to access this and published details online on how to do it. However, Facebook quickly moved to block this access by last night.
This morning it seems that, as always, the jailbreakers have found another way in by a dowloadable file from within Cydia. If you want to unlock the Facebook app in full and use it unrestricted just follow the instructions below. There is even a video to help you if you are having trouble
- You will need to jailbreak your iPad. Do this by visiting jailbreakme.
- Install the iPhone Facebook app on your iPad
- Refresh your packages in Cydia
- Search for ‘Faceforward’ in Cydia and install the package
- Reboot your ipad
- Open the Facebook app and enjoy!
